OK, so I watched Chaplin's 1952 movie 'Limelight' on Sky last night and was amazed how watchable, even brilliant it was....I thought I hated all his post silent era stuff...
...and then to top it off, near the end, lo, this sequence (with Keaton on the piano), in particular the telescopic leg routine....I thought to myself, I have to see this again, it's so classic it must be on Youtube and lo, there it was...
...so forget the intro, and forget the outro (both also brilliant) and check out the midtro...it's amazing!!
... if I had the right trousers, and joints that still worked, I'd be at it meself...
