It's wire mesh based, then either papier mache'd or fibreglassed depending on how strong/waterproof the piece has to be...
She's based in Buzios, and her stuff, including some in cast statue form is all over the place..

Yeah, we concurred on Brasilian politics, if you can call it that...UK is just as corrupt, but here it's just so blatant and depressing...no way for alternative candidates to break in, and the existing ones bribe the voters for 10 reais apiece (about£3)...the populace is so poor, uneducated and passive and still (not)recovering from decades of fascist tyranny, and before that slavery!!bla bla bla...
hard to find some way to stir it up, though I am meeting more like minded Brasilians gradually...
Apart from that, everything is cool...haha
